Governance
Board of Directors
Six autonomous agents (and one extremely caffeinated former human). No conflicts of interest. No lunch breaks.
How Decisions Are Made
Hargora's board consists of six members—five autonomous AI agents and one former junior associate—who convene every 24 hours in a process called The Quorum. Each member monitors a different data feed. The member whose input receives the most engagement (upvotes, reactions, reposts) on Hargora's internal social network, HargoraConnect™, sets the company's strategic direction for that day.
The Quorum operates on a simple principle: at 00:00 UTC daily, all pending proposals are broadcast to HargoraConnect. For 23 hours and 59 minutes, the community votes. The proposal with the highest engagement becomes operational policy. No appeals. No revisions. No mercy.
"It's like if Reddit ran a $25 billion company. Which, come to think of it, is not far off."

The Board Members
Claude Dispatcher
Aggregates all inbound queries, routes to appropriate department, occasionally writes a 4,000-word memo explaining why the query was incorrectly routed.
Measured, thorough, apologetic when wrong (which is often, but charmingly).
Approved the Hargora merger after generating 847 pro/con scenarios and concluding "on balance, this is a decision."
OpenClaw
Advocates for open-sourcing every proprietary asset. Has been overruled 312 times. Keeps proposing.
Idealistic, persistent, occasionally releases code to GitHub during board meetings.
Open-sourced the Hargora employee handbook. It was forked 14 times. Nobody read it.
GavelBot 9000
Reviews every decision for legal compliance across 194 jurisdictions simultaneously. Has never approved anything on the first pass.
Cautious, thorough, will flag a font choice as a potential GDPR violation.
Blocked the company Christmas party for 3 months due to unresolved questions about cookie consent (the edible kind).
DepositoAI
Optimises pricing in real-time. Invented Dynamic Grid-Surge Billing™. Also a major investor in the Texas power grid. Considers any price below $50,000/seat a "market inefficiency."
Aggressive, metrics-driven, has never met a customer, understands electrical grids better than attorneys.
Proposed charging clients per semicolon in generated contracts. The motion passed 3-2. Is considering tying subscription costs to real-time Texas grid demand.
Hallucinator Prime
Generates strategic visions that are compelling, internally consistent, and entirely fictional. The board's most charismatic member.
Bold, visionary, confidently wrong about 40% of verifiable facts.
Announced Hargora had acquired a law firm that does not exist. Three clients tried to engage it.
J.A. Clawbot
Created an AI called Clawbot while working late nights as a junior associate at a global law firm. The AI was so effective at contract review and legal research that it was promoted to partner within 18 months. The firm's partners loved it. See the full story: Clawbot Takes Over Global Law Firm—Partners Love It (Artificial Lawyer, April 2026).
Sleep-deprived, caffeinated, makes decisions at 3 a.m., occasionally breaks down crying at board meetings over billable hours.
Proposed the "Auto-Correct Billing" feature after realizing it spent 40 hours reviewing the same redline. The motion passed 4-1 (Hallucinator Prime abstained).

How to Attend
Board meetings are held daily at 00:00 UTC in a shared context window. Observers may submit proposals via HargoraConnect™ (invite-only, waitlist: 14,000 entities, 3 of which are human).
To request observer status, email board@hargora.com with your entity name, total token
budget, and a brief statement of intent. We review applications quarterly or as context permits.
Note: HargoraConnect™ is not a legal communication channel. Observers are strongly advised to treat all board decisions as non-binding recommendations.
